Everything from start to finish was handled exceptionally well. Room was better than expected, with plunge pool and hot tub. Food is well prepared, authentic local flavours and nice selection of western dishes. BEST PART of all is this resort does not allow children below a certain age, this helped maintain a serene and peaceful environment. Initially only chose to stay here because we had booked dinner at Jeff's Cellar - but when we arrived we were so impressed that by the evening we called the office to extend our stay.

There is nothing I can say that will fault our visit. This property has the right idea of how they want to present luxury stays, and they execute it well. I have nothing but praise for the Banjaran Hotsprings resort and the team that manage it.

Enjoyed the exclusivity, peace and quiet of the resort. Very relaxing stay for me.

Staff should teach us how to fix the mosquito coil so that we can light it when we are in the balcony.

Beautiful Resort, relaxing atmosphere in perfect setting, very relaxing. Facilities great and the pools and caves are nice.Jeffs Cellar Restraunt a jewel in their crown, though not a cheap exercise [ask before booking]Buggy T0 and From the lakeside unit was easy to get, big property too.

The breakfast is excellent. Most of the dishes are order to cook. There're plenty of choices, from eastern to western style and fresh juice. The staffs are friendly and helpful. We, the whole family, enjoyed our breakfast.The steam cave, the meditation cave, the crystal cave, the dr. fish, and the hot springs next to the lake. We stayed at the hotel 2 nights and didn't go out. Too many things to do inside the retreat. We'll attend the yoga and spend more time in the meditation cave next time.

The mosquitos. Other than that, everything is great.

This place met and exceeded my expectations. They fit us into the spa last minute for some wonderful massages, provided little bonuses on arrival (drinks in the room, chocolates, and afternoon tea service) and even a gift upon departure. The bed was comfortable, the pools were clean and in immaculate condition, no detail is overlooked here. I was given the chance to bid for an upgrade and received a garden villa which was huge, I LOVED it! I would 100% go back if I could.

Unfortunately for me, we only had 2 days and I got very ill. I spent most of the time being sick in my beautiful bathroom. The staff brought me anything I requested (ie. bread to try to keep down) and offered their clinic services, but I missed most of everything I had actually paid for.

Located within an area with 250 million caves.Very well maintained.Hot-spring tubs all over the resort.

Food/restaurant choices could be better.Some construction noise noticeable in such a serene setting.

The food at he resort restaurant are top notch.

I love the room, the in room hot spring and pool. The food at the pomelo restaurant was superb especially the breakfast.

The pillow may not be the best suit for me

My wife and I enjoyed a short but memorable stay at Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat—a last-minute detour that turned out to be a highlight of our trip. While the retreat offers a beautiful natural escape, some aspects feel like they need PROPER refreshing despite the property being just over a decade old.The HighlightsThoughtful Care: Arriving slightly unwell, we were touched when staff sent a small wellness gift to our room – these personal touches elevate the experience.Exceptional Activities: The hot springs, jungle lakes, nibble fish waterpool and meditation caves were fantastic. Even with just one night, we soaked in the relaxing atmosphere—wish we had more time to try everything!Delicious Breakfast & Room Service: Breakfast was excellent, though I had to laugh when my "steak and eggs" arrived with a tiny, almost symbolic piece of steak. On the flip side, room service was speedy, and the food quality was restaurant-level. Breathtaking Setting: The retreat’s location is stunning—limestone cliffs, lush jungle, and a peaceful thermal lake create a true sanctuary.

Dated Feel for Its Age: While opened in 2010, some areas already feel worn and in need of updates. Eg the TV had an analog connection, and while the decor is tasteful, certain fixtures and furnishings show noticeable wear.New Hospital Nearby: A recently built multi-story hospital near the entrance slightly clashes with the retreat’s secluded vibe. Once inside, the tranquility remains, but the initial approach isn’t as serene as it could be.

Everything. This was my second time visiting and I will be back again for sure. This place is fantastic!

Jeff's Cellar is great but there are not too many options apart from that at this location.Having said that, room service menu is fantastic and given the quality of accommodations, dining in room was always a pleasant experience.

Resort is well-maintained, staff are courteous (Arvin was there to welcome us from parking till dropping us at the Villa door, explaining everything abt the resort). Private pool & hot tub inside villa were exceptional, but must try the public geothermal swimming & dipping pools too. 4 caves to explore (including Jeff’s cellar) plus 600m jungle walk toward Lost World. Special bfast at Pomelo.

Wow..this place is amazing. You do not need to leave your room or the property. Our room had our own private hotspring and cold plunge pool. The restaurants on site are really delicious. I was impressed with all of the food and the service. Go, you will not be disappointed or should I just keep this one a secret.

It is a beautiful place surrounded by a lush garden. The place is very peaceful as a retreat should be. The staff is very nice and polite. Our lake villa was specious and very comfortable. The food is very high quality. The fine dining restaurant Jeff's cellar which is located in a cave is amazing and its location unique making it a memorable experience. The tasting menu was a treat to the palate! All in all, a fantastic hotel.

Nothing about the hotel. It's just that when I asked for a change of dates in booking.com, it was refused by the hotel because it was a cheaper rate. At the end, we agreed to pay the initial rate and not the discounted one. I wouldn't say it is good business practice.

Great experience of the jungle. Heard many different sounds. Good food

Staff is good overall, though could be better. We were ignored before check in, and felt sidelined until they are free, when attention should quickly be given. And staff sometimes talk loudly, breaking the serene environment

Gorgeous property and the spa was excellent.

Food could be better. They provided GF bread the first day but the second day, they only gave me stale bread at breakfast. Local foods on menu was terrible.

during initial arrival from guard house i was asked to go to parking lot, then self carry the lugguage till the front door but no one is there to guide. We have to turn and find the lobby upto reception ourself, which is the only negative impression during this stay. I believe if there is a communication between the guardhouse and the front desk, then it will be better. Otherwise, our stay in banjaran is exceptional with the awesome service. Thank you.
